FAQ

  • 1. How many hours per week will I spend training?

Members will spend about 10 hours weekly collectively between their lifting and baseball programming. You can add an additional 4-5 hours on top of this if you decide to be a two way athlete.

  • 2. How many hours per day will I spend training?

It varies day to day. If an athlete has both a lift, and baseball programming for the day expect that to take between 2-3 hours. If they have just one or the other they can expect anywhere from a half an hour to 1.5 hours.

  • 3. What is remote coaching?

Remote coaching is the training of the future. It gives you access to your coach, but also the flexibility to train on your own time. Each training day is delivered through our streamlined software. This makes it easy for the athlete to follow and track their progress. Each drill or exercise is linked to a video in case an athlete is every confused on exactly how to perform an exercise.

  • 4. I already have a training program that I do in person, or was given to me by my school. Can I still train with Summit?

Absolutely. This is critical information to share with your trainer so that they can build you the most optimal training program. However, we are firm believers in working with athletes to best meet their needs. There are always things that our trainers can help you improve upon.

  • 5. Are Zoom check- ins necessary?

While not necessary, our athletes consistently report that their Zoom check ins greatly help their progress. Monthly check ins allow athletes to discuss any questions or concerns that they have about the coming months program directly with the trainer. Weekly check ins are a great way to get consistent feedback week over week from their trainers. These check ins have proven to be a critical part to our training process.

  • 6. What kind of communication will I have with my trainer?

Depending on your service type communication will come either via Zoom and Whatsapp or just Whatsapp. All athletes will be added to an athlete group on Whatsapp where they can communicate with their fellow Summit athletes. They will also have access to their trainer via Whatsapp. This communication will be limited to training questions, updates, and equipment questions. Trainers will not be making program adjustments based on whats app communication. Zoom check ins can be weekly or monthly, in these 15 minute meetings trainers are happy to answer any questions, look over video, or make programming adjustments as needed.
